"Finish This" "Fill in the Blank"

A spider on an old man's beard is like a baby hitting you

The oars on the boat rowed as if a man is running track

Nothing was the same, now that it was a dragon saying hey to you

The wino took to coma like jerry ate icecream

The dice rolled out of the cup toward Len like my teacher gives out grades

A child in a movie is like a boy at GameStop

Puffy clouds in your glass of wine are widly floating above your head

Guess What I am?

I am big and brown and I am behind your door.
Some people call me wide.
Most of the time I have a nice cool breeze scent.
I am not very heavy.

My friends that live with me are tall.
My friends and I get new friends every spring.
I have been cut twice because kids get snagged on things.
I take baths in cold water only.
Who am I.

My Will

“I Monique Paula Angel, a resident of Memphis, TN being of sound mind and body herby establish my last will and testament.” My executive is my father Paul.
I leave my grandmother Sylvia Angel my items that I loved the most. I leave my rings to my grandmother because she knows that I never took off. I keep them very close to my heart. My Senior Heads because it something she would like to put in a Scrap Book. She would always remember my smile she always told me I made her day.
I leave my husband Monterrious Angel, my 2 beautiful children and one of the cars. I leave him the children because they care a lot for their father. I wouldn’t want them to be away from their father he can provide for them. He is the best husband anyone can have.
I leave my children Amira Angel, and Amont Angel 265,000,000 so they won’t be with much for their senior year. I leave my mother Emma Angel the rest of my money. I leave my mother and father the house. My mother and father would have to share her money.
I would want everyone to remember how my smile lit up the room. I would always want people to remember how encourage- able I was. How I try my best to stay positive I was to people even if they were rude to me.

What My Classmates and I have learned living in memphis

Being young means that you are naïve about things that go on.

Being a young person means learning to be independent.

We are humans, we have feelings, and we do want to achieve great things. We just need more activities.

The most valuable lesson I have learned while at MASE is to stay out of drama and keep to yourself.

People respond to kindness.

Black church shoes are the worst fashion trend at MASE.

My favorite places in Memphis are the Stax Museum and the Pink Palace.

I will remember getting my class ring!

People don’t keep secrets any more.

Mr. Brame doesn’t play.

You should never kiss your best friend’s boyfriend.

I think Obama has done great so far.

Being a young person is the most precious gift.

Music is really the center of my sanity.

My favorite place in the city is anywhere I can be with the people I love.

We do listen to adults; we just act like we’re not.

Always keep up with your belongings because they will come up missing.

Sagging pants is the worst fashion trend.

Build us up; don’t tear us down.
