The Friendship to Remember

Wordle: Sally

In Tulsa of 1970 there was a heathen who lived on a hill. She was a very older lady staying alone in her late 70's. Everyone thought she was the bad person in the neighborhood.

One day children were playing around her house. As soon as one of the children threw the ball it landed in the older lady's yard. The children were scared to get it because of all the story they have heard. One brave child wasn't scared and his name was Aaron Lee . He went to go get the ball and the heathen came out of her house. he asked her could he get his ball. She told him yes, you can. he told her many people were mistaken about her. She told him she barely could talk because she had a stroke last year. When they finished talking the boy exited her yard.

Re-Writing "The Necklace" by Guy de Maupassant

“I—I have not Mme Forester’s diamond necklace!”
He jumped up, frightened—

“What? How? It is not possible! It was just here. How in the world could you lose something so important?”

“Honey, I didn’t mean to lose it.” She thought to herself how could I have been so irresponsible to lose something so important?

“What do you mean you didn’t lose it?” he asked.

“Like I just said, honey, I wasn’t really paying attention.”

He screams at the top of his voice “Get out and don’t come back here until you find it”.

Acrostic

Persistence is what I have.
Adventurous is what I am
Unique is my personality
Lovable is my heart
And school is where i can start

Patience is what I have
Openess is the closeness with my family
Wisdom is what i am gaining
Elegance, charm, sociable that's me.
Life gives time to make a change
Laughter I do to hide the pain

My favorite Journal Entry

There are several things I am doing to do to be a better person. I am going to talk about the three that are most important to me. I have started listening to wise people, my father and mother and my grandmother to name a few. I am finding out that they know a lot about life that I didn’t know they knew. Things they tell me I believe now. They want me to finish college. I want to finish college too. I think it will break their hearts if I don’t finish. Second, I am paying attention more in class than I have before. I know if I am to make it I got to study harder.

Finally, I have been preparing myself for the world. I am just learning how to stay focus. When I was told to stay focus before, I really didn’t know what people meant. That’s my third thing, to be more focus so that I can become a better person.

My List Poem

What is Brown!
Brown is the dullest color of them all.
It's the color of the cabinets in my house.
It's the outer layer color on my floor.
Most of all it's the color of picture frames.

This color explain so many things.
This is the most exciting color to older people.
You see this color day after day.
This is the color of my face.

A Discussion Paula Made

This day is a very important day i will always remember. the decision I had to make was getting on an airlpane. This was an experience and a half. If you were in a Spanish class that year you could have went on the trip. I was very excited to go to Mexico.

The students that were going were Tekia, Kenneth, Jaquea, Mr. Phillips and myself. When you get to an airport and can get pretty loud. We all had to go through airpoirt securities. The next thing we did was approach the airplane. I was totally scared because they told me that my ears would pop. I was scared Iwalked up to the door of the plane was putting seven pieces of gum in my mouth. This I thought was going to be a scary and bumpy ride. I told myself to stay strong.

Their were so many things i remember . All i know was i was high up in the sky. I did not freak out when my ears begin to pop. It smells like regular air I guess. The airplane food was better than i expected. the texture of the airplane were soft and rough.

I felt scared when we were riding up so high. I thought that i was going to faint. I actually wanted to go back home. When we went up is when i really wanted my grandmother. The experience meant a lot to me. It meant I was becoming a stronger person it was teaching me to overcome the things I'm scared of. I loved this great experience.
