The Friendship to Remember

Wordle: Sally

In Tulsa of 1970 there was a heathen who lived on a hill. She was a very older lady staying alone in her late 70's. Everyone thought she was the bad person in the neighborhood.

One day children were playing around her house. As soon as one of the children threw the ball it landed in the older lady's yard. The children were scared to get it because of all the story they have heard. One brave child wasn't scared and his name was Aaron Lee . He went to go get the ball and the heathen came out of her house. he asked her could he get his ball. She told him yes, you can. he told her many people were mistaken about her. She told him she barely could talk because she had a stroke last year. When they finished talking the boy exited her yard.

As he close her gate she asked him to fasten it because it swing open when a storm is headed. The next 10 years the boy got married and invited her to the wedding. At the wedding she made many friends. Two years after that he had children and he told his children about the great woman that lives in the house.

"Aaron," she said.

"Yes," he stated back to her.

"Thank-you for doing so much for me," she replied.

"You are welcome because you have a kind soul," he said.

"You are like the son that I have never had," she stated.

"If you didn't help me i don't know where i would be," he announced.

They both gave each other a hug and were very gracious.
